I've been working in the oil patch for a little over 3 years and these were my first pair of boots, they lasted me 2 summers. Since then I have tried many different kinds and I replace them all twice each summer. You won't find a better, lighter more comfortable boot that LASTS!

nice boot. light weight, flexible boot. feels like your wearing shoes not heavy work boots. also completely waterproof and breathes fairly well. also has good grip on any surface

I have had a pair for two years now and looking to finally replace. They perhaps would have lasted longer if I didn't let them get dried out this past winter. The fail happened when the leather split in a crease where the toe bends. entirely my fault.
The This particular Vibram sole is better than any I have had in my entire life. Virtually slip proof in the winter compared to any others. This boot runs quite hot in the summer months IMO which usually resulted in me wearing a hot weather CSA military boot made also by STC. On the flip side they kept my feet very warm in the winter up to -30C which seemed to be also the freezing point for the sole as well. Not much you can do to maintain traction beyond that temp anyways. I have confidently walked past many people on frozen job sites losing their footing or skating out of control. I can tell you this, you get what you pay for! You will be happy wearing these boots in the fall, winter, spring for work.

just got these boots. seem very comfortable. I have other boots of this brand and really like there comfort. One question i have is why there is a seam in the leather in the arch area. This seems to be the first point to give out on there shoes and boots.

Hi there, These STC boots ( hardcore ) are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, I've been wearing boots for over 30 years & these are without a doubt the best i've had on my feet. I'm currently looking to buy my 3rd pair . Also , these boots seem to last longer, I have been replacing boots every 6 months in the past, but now I can go a year . I can still wear them but , I like the feel of new boots. Try-em for yourself , you'll see !!
